Notes
- Coverage today is Turkey and its surroundings (about 100 km); other regions open in turn.
- The tiles are a produced work of OSM data (ODbL). Updraft's flight layers are not merged into the same database as the OSM data.
- A power line not mapped in OSM is not on the map either: a missing line does not mean there is none.
- Contours come from a 30 m surface model; in forests and built-up areas they include the height of the surface (trees, buildings).
- Wind sectors only break down the thermal grid; the map shows no wind or weather forecast.
- Yearly open data package (thermal grid, take-offs and landings, hazards, skyways; GeoParquet and GeoJSON, CC BY 4.0, no key): updraftmaps.com/en/open-data. The package holds nothing that points to a person and nothing below a privacy threshold.
